im not sure what im doing yet..a big block s10 or maybe just putting a turbo from a turbo thunderbird on the 350ci...im pretty sure that i can just turn a set of shortie headers up side down..with the collector pointing up ...but im not sure where to go from there...does any one know of any good web sites where i can get some info,,on these..i have ask for a price list from the guy on here that is trying to sell a turbo set up but he will not respond ,,,so forget him i guess...

I think the company is Vortec, but they are making a centrifugal blower for carburated cars that side mounted and belt driven. I saw one at the dragstrip a few weeks ago.Comes with all the piping and a cone that fits on top of the carb. That would be just a little easier to tune also. You might check Vortecs website and see.

My friend is building a twin turbo efi small block (not in an s-10). He is using upside-down shorties. Seems to work well. It may be difficult to keep everything under the hood though.

i saw a 350 in a mk3 supra like my buddies with twin turbos and efi on it, the turbos were 25 bucks a piece off a thunderbird, he fabbed up his own headers, and it all fits under the hood. The cool thing is he runs like a 10.5 and the car weighs like 3500 lbs.

The vortex is a blower and not a turbo,if you look at hairdryer\'s pics you\'ll see one of those.
