I have an 87 S-10 with a 355 V8 (newer heads, mild cam, 700R4 autom 2:73 gears). I am planning to go toa newer S-series 8.5 rear with 3:42 gears, larger cam, and a 383 crank come spring, wil a 750 be way too much until then?

Thanks, brian

i\'m running a 750 on mine and it works fine. i went to 71 jets from the stock 72\'s because it was getting to much gas. But it works great now. http://www.s10v8.com/images/smilies/icon_wink.gif

i don\'t see why a 750 would be too much,if you have a good cam that is 226 or better duration at .050,should not be a problem at all, most all the gm crate 350\'s require that size carb...If it is you can always re-jet the carb....give it more air....play on playa

Thanks http://www.s10v8.com/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif Can\'t wait to get it, this 450 CFM is KILLING ME!!!! It chokes the motor out at 4000 RPM! m old 355 S-10 had no problem seeing 6000 RPM with it\'s 670 street avenger http://www.s10v8.com/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif

my though for 3;42s was because I drive roughly 50 miles round trip everyday. I think i may scale back on ly plans, carb, rear, and posibly a different cam, but I want to save and eventually get my dream vehicle, a Syclone. I think it and the V8 S-10 would make a nice pair http://www.s10v8.com/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif
