dont fall into the latest trend too.................... all these truck going up for sale cant be good. hope you can keep it. well i think if i had the money i would probally pay up to 12k for yours but i would have to see it for my self. up close and personal. but i dont even have 12 dollars right now so i dont even see that happening.
i know your delima also cause i went from a cushy position in the army when i hurt my back to just a disability check to live on. child support is killing me but i gotta live too. va is paying for my school right now so i guess im lucky there.
hang in there and hope it all works out in the end. this site has turned out alot of good info on trucks and personal situations. we will help any way we can.

Well sir the bad thing about building any hot rod of any sort is that unless you have very little in it you\'ll never get your money out of it. That is just part of the game we play. I have over the years got about 14K in mine and I\'m about to cut it in two. Realisticly I would have to say you\'re looking at around 5-6 grand. Don\'t take that as an insult, just looking at want most people might pay for a race truck that is not totally done.
Good luck sir in school and the sale of our truck.
Jeff....
P.S. Sorry to hear you have to sell it afetr all the hard work.

i should\'t have to sell it...my wife makes good $$$..but you never know....if i got 4000.00 out of it i would be very happy....i got a good deal on the big block stuff...i spent more on little stuff ...like oil ...bolt\'s...line\'s...etc...than i did on getting the block ..crank rod\'s ..piston\'s..etc...

John, if the truck was here, good possibility it would sell for bout 8 or 9k. Alot of folks here love the s10 with a big block. I have almost 10k in mine, and have been offered 12k. I truly hope that after all the hard work and busted knuckles, that you don\'t have to let it go. As with Icequeen, I have admired the work you have done with your truck. just so you nhave an idea, friend of mine just finished a 427, and sold it for 3500. engine only. I hope you can hang on to it, and it is costly for a hotrod as a hobby. Vern. http://www.s10v8.com/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif Also wish you luck in school so you can pursue your dreams. Dr. John.
