got me a 93 blazer

i got a 1993 4x4 s10 blazer today..it has a blown head gasket....it has the 4.3 vortec motor in it....how much power is that motor rated at...it\'s in great shape and the interior is great...the best part is that i only paid 300.00(three-hundred)for it....now i can get really radical with my big block ..cause i have a daily driver now.....

I\'ve got a 2000 4.3 Vortec ZR2 and it gets about 15-17 city http://www.s10v8.com/images/smilies/icon_rolleyes.gif 18-20 highway

I had a \'93 4door 2wd with the vortec motor. Was rated 200hp and got around 15 city. I believe I squeezed 20mpg highway once or twice out of it.

thats wierd, im getting 22-23 hwy out of my vorted in my astrovan, im sure its heavyer than a blazer.

Hmm, no wonder my buddy doesn\'t belive me that I\'m pulling 21 mpg with my blazer on the highway. Or maybe its because im faster than his camaro,lol.
