i bought some rims from some kid on ebay for $41 bucks. Aluminum slot type. 15 by 7. He said they came off his 89 camaro, well they have a 5 by 5 bolt pattern. Anyways i can\'t return them and i do like them. I checked on wheel adapters and i was quoted $229 dollars. Anybody know where i can get some cheap wheel adapters and ones that are not to wide, because i don\'t want the rim sticking out past the fender.

They are not a very good idea....They break, and can cause some real bad shit to happen. You will probably break the ones on the back pretty fast. I would try to re-sell them to someone.

If you are going to buy any adapters. Make sure you by the billet adapter rather than the stamped ones. I have a pair of stamped adapters for sale. converts 5x4.75 to 5x4.75. 1\" thick

The only wheel adapters I\'ve ever seen broke in a day. Save yourself a headache & $229 and sell the rims and get the right ones.

if your truck was stock with a 4 banger or 6..i would use them ..thats if the rims are worth spending the extra money for the spacer\'s...but with a v8 ...don\'t waste the money...my cousin did his vega like that...he put a adapter on his 4 lug and changed it to a 5 lug....it lasted like a day or so...i seen a mustang do the same thing ..4 lug to a 5 lug...and it broke and the car hit the wall...just re sell them and do it right...

They\'re out there sir. I have seen them threw AIM or whatever they\'re called now in Truckin magazine. I use to do Autocross back in the 70\'s with a VW Beetle that had adapters on it and never broke one. And we turned corners pretty darn hard!
I would agree that you should try and find some made from billet.

you could always go to a reliable tire shop and possibly have your rims redrilled to your bolt pattern.
What about replacing your s10 steering knuckles, and axles or rear end out of camaro then you could but on any camaro rim, and possible find possie rear end and high perfomance front suspension that camaro has for v8 in camaro. worth it , cheap in the long run if you go to a salvage yard (junkyard) I know becouse i work at one
