I have a 97 gmc ext.cab stepside/ 4.3 5spd



How do I fint out wich tranny I have and will it work/hold up to a lt1 from a late 90\'s camaro

or If I buy a pull out from a salvage camaro w/auto do I need a bigger hammer.



I have a lot of stop light in my town.

You probably have the NV3500 tranny and it will hold up pretty well behind a LT1. I have one in my full size Chevy truck that weights 4000lbs and 300+hp and 400lb-ft.
