relocate my battery

has anyone relocated their battery to the rear? I need some ideas on where to put it. I would like to be able to use my bed however, but if i have to put it in the bed, where can i mount it so it doesnt get in the way all the time? If someone has a pic i would love to see it.

Mine is located up inside the passenger-side rear wheel well behind the wheel. No camera= no pics.

It\'s a 2002 Xtreme Sport bed and I mean 8\" directly behind the rear passenger tire; outside of the frame.

so you just fabbed up some mounts and bolted them to your frame under your bed behind the rear wheel and attached the battery to that right?

Over the pass rear tire is usually standard. Should fit behind the wheel well if your bed. Shoudlnt\' take up that much room.

good deal! that is what i thought of. i am going to visit my local tractor parts place and see what kind of battery boxes they carry and find a small one and mount it.

Just thought that you should know that if you relocate your battery you must have an exterior on/off switch to be legal at the track.
