Ok im trying to figure out what axle i want for the front of my truck. from what my father told me the biggest GM diff for the front is the 10 bolt. but he said i could also use a dana 60 or a ford 9\" with reverse rotation gearset. anyone have any other ideas.

they had a dana 60 chevy rear in some of them trucks and dana 44\'s they are hard to come by though.

well i have a 14 bolt full floater rear diff right now and im trying to figure out just what to do with the front.

Yeah the front\'s are harder. A Dana 60 front would be rock solid to use along with the Ford9\". I\'m a cheap bastard and am going to use the weak Dana 30/33 combo for simplicity for now, with waggy springs.



pretty sure you\'re already familiar with... but shoot this question over to the guys at s10extremist board, they know a hell of a lot

i use this name cause its my trucks nickname.

But since mark already had this name on s10 extremist on there i was none as my1987s10blazer4x4355v8 but that got iritatingly long so now its mikesbadbowtie!
