help with v8 350 s10

hey guys i was wondering can u make an s10 v8 stick shift? if u can link me to the site with the tranny or tell me about it cuz everyone tells me to go with the damn 700r4... plz help.

if it originally had a manual transmission, then it is an easy swap, id recommend a richmond 5 speed, borg and warner t10 4 speed or a muncie 4 speed. all 3 are great transmissions. if it origianally had a auto, dont bother then you have to add clutch, pedal,ect.

there are kits that adapt that will let you use your stock transmission with a V8, but remember that S10\'s have hydralic clutches, so if you gonna swap in a different transmission get one from a 4.3 or out of a newer full size truck. That way you can reuse your slave cylinder and it should be a direct bolt-in.
