Need design for Custom Parts

Ok if we\'re going to have custom S10V8 parts made, i.e. valve covers, air cleaner, emblems etc.. we need a solid design. The design needs to be bold and simple with some attitude but be able to be produced on parts. Since most parts would be chrome, color is not an issue. Let\'s see what you got.

ok man. heres what i was thinkin. i was actually thinkin about goin out and getin the tools to do it myself. first off. imagine the corvette valve covers with the word CORVETTE in the middle. those are cast so its not economical to do that, same setup though. i was thinkin about getting either chrome or polished aluminum valve covers, personally im partial to polished aluminum. dissipates heat alot more readily and looks just as good as far as im concerned.



my plans were pretty elaborate. but here goes.

get valve covers in either polished aluminum or chrome. centerbolt or side bolt. engrave a few different things into them depending on model. like make covers saying \"S 10\" OR

\"SS 10\", \"S 10 BLAZER\", \"BLAZER\", \"JIMMY\", \"SONOMA\", \"S15\". etc.



i was also thinking about making them for the 4 and 6 cylinder models as well and selling them on ebay. another possible design idea: (bowtie) \"INSERT MODEL HERE\" (bowtie). another plus side to the valve covers that just say \"BLAZER\" is that the guys sportin the big blazers can use them on theirs too.



as for the air cleaners. if your just goin for the round style do the same as you would do with valve covers. hope this helps.

i will try to sit down on solid works here atthe house and draw it out and get the veiws to you. im a student at tis stuff but it is fairly easy to use. it will a similar veiw of the valve cover you displayed earlier. you could proally use photoshop to produce a better image. in the least effort it will give me a bit more experience on the program.

2. you can submit it to the gallery and wait for me to get around to it.



3. you can email it to me, but i would be the only one to see it and you prob wouldn\'t get an email back, nothing personal, I am just lazy sometimes.



4. you could link to it from some other file server on the net, sounddomain.com, aol hometown etc etc...

I bought one for my 84 - it has a 93 chrome grille.

They might be able to produce one that says

\"V8\" or whatever. Or maybe do a variation on the \"bowtie SS\" door emblems.

I would think once they find out you represent 4300 owners they would be willing to do a few design sketches for you.

I would think with a few more minor mods it would be no problem. On the other hand it might be nice to give Mrs Earnhardt a call and see how she\'s doin. If you do, ask her for me if she has started dating yet.

Not sure if people really want .com on there truck, I would think the s10 v8 would be cool, no need to throw in the .com, you can tell people about the site once they stop you and tell you hopw cool your truck is and how much there truck sucks.
