problems with running true duals

[84SBs10]

ok i have a 84 s10 pickup with std. cab with a 350 with the hedman headers. Well i have no problems with the passenger side but on the drivers side the gas tank is right in the way. So what did you guys do? Did you relocate the tank to in the middle? Did you get a fuel cell?....pretty much i just wanna know what you guys with the true duals did to get them that way.

p.s. i live in florida and don\'t have to worry about emissions or anything.

i ran a about 16 inch piece of pipe above the crossmember then the muffler and a turn out before the gas tank thrush turbos and was fairly quiet

I have both my exhaust running down the passangers side both mufflers in front of the rear end and over out the center of the back.

I too have true duals routed down the passenger and headed straight back. 3\" collectors and 2 1/4\" pipe with red hots... she has a nice bark...

damn Mike it looks like you have been laying under my truck.lol they are almost exactly alike..Mine is 3\'\' all the way back with flowmaster 2 chambers.is yours?

2 1/2\" true duals run down the passanger side then over the diff and splits and strait out the back with 3\" tips 24\" long with hooker sweet talker mufflers

I ran mine down the passenger side also. and they exit right before the rear wheels. I\'m gonna swap over to a 3\'\' Y-pipe with a 40 series flowmaster and dual 2.5 tail pipes.

I installed a fuel tank from a blazer. But I am planning on running side pipes anyway.

im running advanced adaptor headers and dual 2 1/4. both side run along the frame then after the Transfer case i have turn downs.

I cant waithto get it finished tommorrow. i used to have it straight out the back under the tank in my blazer.

oh yeah mo mufflers just cats it was loud out the back now dumping under the truck will be louder at least until i get my dynomax bullets mufflers
