i cant spell

dude listen i got alot of friends that are bound and determind to beleive 100% in ricers

i love all cars but i dont understand that they think a supra 6 \"turbo\" can beat out an american v8 with the same mods down to it

i would rather pay an american man to build my car than a Jap that is probly so racist towards americans that he would spit in one face if he had the chance.

my dad is over there in Japan and he sayd they won let whites in half the eating places

i am american on top of that i was blessed by god because i was born in TEXAS i will build a V8 Truck that destroys any import

sorry this is so long but Chevy is the best for sticking to its roots and producing cars that will give small children dreams of there own after they get over the nightmares from the V8 that rocked their world apart.

Why do ricers really beleive deep down that a SBC is a sorry peice? How can we get them to lose every time they race an american car?

WE WILL WIN! (on getting youngsters to believe in the american product)

Sounds like your biased towards V8\'s. I, to love the rumble of a good V8. And the massive TQ of a big block.

But, some \"Tuners\" can/are very fast. They can be built using the right parts. I was so totally against any import or anything like that what so ever. Cause all I ever saw around here was rice. Some fag in a civic with a fart tip, or a probe with a huge wing, etc.

But, I have found some respect for tuners. My cousin is getting big on them, and he\'s got a decent start with his integra. Im sure he\'s surprise more than one V8 around here. And, he\'s just getting started.

I was on my way to the track the other day, and saw a ZX2 in the rearview. Though it was just another ricer, but it was done decently.

Lowered, 17\'s, upgraded front lights, NO eruo tails, big set of brakes up front. Sounded decent. Got next to me, and it was an older guy. Gave me the thumbs up on my truck, and drove away. No drama. Plate said \"ZX2NER\". My buddy has one too, and never thought much about it. But, i respected this guy.

Thats the name of this game. Respect. Give some, you\'ll get some. Sure, some 17 YO kid with a civic isn\'t gonna give you any.

First few times you get beat, you\'ll respect one.

Shit, some of them stock, are faster than most of them modified. RX7\'s were decent stock. Supras would run low 14\'s, high 13\'s stock. New SRT4 Neons are running high 13\'s stock. Seen that personally at the track when I was running.

Found one on the street a few weeks later. We raced, I won, but he was cool as hell about it. Didn\'t even know it was the same guy, turns out it was. We stopped, and talked for like almost 2 hours about cars. He said he never expected my truck to run like that, let one to be seeing my tail lights.

Ok Im done with my book. Basically, I\'ll make a long story short. If you think everything has to have a V8 to be fast, your just as ignorant as your buddies.

Yeah, SRT4 Neons are very quick. But, I think the same way you do whipcream.....Rice is rice......not just an import, but rice. Heck, that could be a Neon or a Cavalier for that matter. Fart tip, huge rear wing....everybody knows. With rice though, you\'re not gonna have to worry about them whoopin ya, cause that muffler isnt gonna help them boost h.p. LOL. And that triple deck wing is gonna slow them down.

dude i dont have anything agaISNT fast cars but i do wish all those \"buddies\" of mine would understand that a 4 banger civic isn\'t fast. (Stock) which is what most of those dudes have any how i am not ignorant. i was asking why this people insist on downing V8s i dont down them if the car is actually fast. i like the new Mini and RX8 and The supra is a classic because of how rare it is along with the skyline

i like all of nissans products for that matter. I hate trying to talk about cars with the youth right now because they are \"haters\" yes i said it but let me talk to soome one that is a real CAR\\truck enthuseist then i dont car what they drive as long as they know how they got it fast. ok i am done but i just want to set an example to my gen. that V8s or not dead

IM NEW TO THIS SITE, BUT HAVE BEEN IN THE SCENE FOR A FEW YEARS. i HAVE ALWAYS HAD A V6. I GOT IT FROM THE \'RICERS\' AND THE \'V8S\'. BUT SOME V6S WITH THE RIGHT COMBOS KEEP UP WITH AND BEAT V8S. IM NOT SAYING THAT V8S AREN\'T GOOD, JUST SAYING THAT YOU HAVE TO KNOW WHAT YOU\'RE DOING TO WIN

Tuners are tuners ! So often we forget the our own ranks (I\'m speaking of V-8er\'s) are diluted by bolt on freaks .

Yes , V-8\'s are fast , and so are turbo\'ed 4\'s , it just comes down to who knows their craft that determines a Tuner from a Wanna-be.

So often I see a dream motor chromed to the hilt , that can\'t idle ar pull the chrome-pony it\'s in onto the trailer. Disgusting !

The tuner is the Guru of his craft, he can hear a misfire before the plug fouls , sense a poorly calibrated advance curve , reaches under your hood and pull out that extra five horsepower, and speaks a different language than most of us.

Whether he is a Guru of Chevy or not , the tuner deserves respect for the practice of his craft.............but......

If some Wanna-be white trash , crap talkin\' piece of rich-boy trash , with a fart tip and a boom-boom system thinks he can get a fender on me..... he\'s got another thing coming.

yeah i agree with stpparts totally. There are posers in every aspect of cars. At the last car show i saw a monte that the guy told me was putting out 623hp. I looked at the engine, noticed the absence of a high rise intake, large tube headers, aftermarket heads, and a spread bore carb, and thought \"this guy is full of crap\"

so i asked him where he got his motor dynoed at, and he told me that he didnt have it done yet. He must be a pretty good estimator to come up with the exact number of horspower.

oh yeah and when he left, the only rumble was from his exhaust leak lol

Holy shit. That reminds me of this guy that was staying at my hotel when we were at the Carlisle all truck Nationals.

Came rolling up in like a early 90\'s (not sure on year) Lumina minivan. You know those real ugly ones that are like all plastic and the front end slants down a bunch?

Well this guys talking for hours while everyone\'s partying about how he\'s pushing so much power out of this mini van. He hand build custom twin turbo. His own intake manifold, etc. On and on about all he\'s done

Of course, he\'s also got his hood up, and you can see the motor is stock as stock can be. Probably still had the original plugs and wires.

It was funny as hell. Of course, we were all drinking pretty heavily. My buddy said he got him and the motor on video tape. We haven\'t watched the tape yet. I completely forgot about it.

Rock ON!!!!

That is nothing. My fellow Walton County citizen Brad Brand just broke the world street legal record in his turbo charged mustang. He was the first person to break 200mph in the quarter. I think he ran in the 6s.

It has a/c, full bench seat in the rear, stereo, wipers, headlights, non-tubular chassis, and original body. And he races against tubular stripped down non-streetlegal cars. Don\'t believe me. Check this out!!! (http://www.mustangweekly.com/2003/July/Brand/200-1.asp)

It is a 351 turbo putting out about 2000hp. I\'ve even seen him on the street with it. At a car show he got a ticket for exhibition of speed when he popped a wheelie. Now that is a ticket I would be proud of.

I know what people are thinking. But since the subject of fast cars and wanna-bes were up I thought I would mention it. And I don\'t think he is a wannabe. Check out his website for more. Atlanta Chassis and Dyno (http://www.acdyno.com/)

Be careful around a mkiv 4 supra(93-98) tt. In tuner world they are the top of the line right under skylines and the nsx. There are a lot of supras that run 9\'s and make well over 800 horsepower on a 3.0l inline 6. They are even better on the top end, they\'re only downfall is price, even a 94 still demands 20 000 US.
