I keep trying to change the theme and when I do it last about 10 seconds before it changes back to the old one. Am i just doing it wrong or is it a bug?

Got an idea, but it\'s hard to describe. I was thinking about somehow getting something setup so that people from different areas can have a different forum section for members from all the states to gather in. Like have a forum or something for the mid-west. Have another for eastcoast...kinda like that, but all within this site



That way it might be easier to have people set up gatherings in their areas. So people can go to their area and see if anything new is going on. Hell even find out about where the cops are hitting hard.



Another thought. Has anyone ever thought of getting a mass gathering of the s10v8 memebers together? I\'m really good buddies with one of the guys that runs the www.sportmachines.com website, all syty stuff, they always have national gatherings. the back button issue, you\'ll need to talk to microsoft about that one, it\'s a browser problem. try mozilla it works perfectly.

Hey Mike, Just an idea, I am not sure what software you use to power the forums, but I know most PHP BB\'s have the ability to add custom attributes, you might be able to add a field with the general location (northeast, east, southeast, midwest, southwest, west, etc) and allow people to search by that, it would be an easier way to find people within their region, but that is of course assuming that people put their information in.



Don\'t know if it would help, but thats my 2 cents from running a couple message boards and learning the info the hard way...



Only other thing I think would be cool, would be a section you can go to that you can browse specific buildup issues, since I have seen a lot of people take step by step buildup parts, so if the folks put it together, you could have a section folks could look at first, then go post and ask additional questions. I know I have seen some of rearend installs, body work, etc. Would basically be a \"how to\" section that folks can submit tech articles too, and could maybe even break it down further into engine sections, body work, suspension, etc...



Not sure if either are good ideas, but thought I would throw them out there!

One other thing, I can not get the last post first option to work anymore. It always list first post first... no matter which way you set it up. Tried your suggestion ealier of deleting cookies and reloging in. It didn\'t work for this problem.

AF-S10 gave a good idea. Mike, you can\'t go wrong with anything that gives better customer service. AF-S10\'S idea(don\'t know him) will help keep the \'core\' body of members growing and will make easy and efficient their main interests while attracting newbie\'s. Example, I have been surfing looking for info. on 9\" rears and 8.8\'s,there isn\'t enough on the S10 sites. Anything that will make the job easier,efficient,interesting,,,people will buy. What do S10 enthusiastits want/need? Provide it in an easy,pleasant way and they will go with it. As a newbie to the S10 crowd I can see that none of the sites are practical enough,most actually just tease you with info. like the car magazines do. Give the people what they want and how they want it. But as far as the \'structure\' of this site,IMO it\'s great.

I have to agree with hr2impeach. \"Who\'s online\" vs. who was online. That way if you want to PM them you know there around to chat. Otherwise PM\'s get left and usually answered the following day. (If there not listed as \"here\" that will happen anyways though.

Athough I do like who was there because on some topics, someone else would answer and you would know that there answer would be 100% and you don\'t necassarly need to add info.

Thats my 2 cents though.

another thing that was brought to mind just now, how about giving the seller of an item in the classified section the ability to remove his/her ad after the item sells. it would be more easier for the seller to do this instead of notifing you to do it for them??? oh by the way, i need to have an ad removed. sold my tach that was in the electrical section. thanks mike

I look in the classsifeds for stuff all the time. I have to look through every ad with a title in which I am looking for, only to find that the item is located on the other side of the country. That is a pick up only- motor, tranny vehicle. Other Stuff like intakes carbs that is easliy shipable \"states\" info isn\'t important but it really does help out alot.

can you put the home page back the way it was? there are a few people that i PM but never remember how to spell their screen name. if i see it on the left of the home page where the latest topics are and who posted it and who last replied. you used to be able to just click on the name and their profile would come up? that was nice and easy.

I have one suggestion, I would like to see you change how pictures are uploaded. I do not believe that this site is going to actually update and post submitted pictures so why not set it up mys10.com and allow one per day the correct sizes and take the frustration out of having to pay to be a member on this site with no true support staff to handle members request. I realize that the $$ was not much and that the two sites are affilated, so why not make one as easy as the other.

I would like to see something done with the edit feature. When you edit a post that included a quote from someone else it gets all mad.



After editing, it displays all the code and not the quote box anymore. just kind of annoying to have to either delete the quote, or re copy and paste everything again.

I noticed in the classified section it list month and day, can the year be added?
