What are you guys running for plugs?
Manufacturer, number, heat range, and plug gap? Just curious...because I\'m having a little trouble \"sizing\" mine.
Engine is a 383ci, 11:1, Isky 280H cam, Canfield heads, dual plane intake, 780CFM carb, Sanderson Shorties....
Any recommendations? http://www.s10v8.com/images/smilies/icon_confused.gif

Check with your head manufacturer. I checked and Dart said to use Champion Y59YC which are extremely COLD plugs but they cost over $8 a piece so I\'m using Autolite 24\'s which are the cheapest, coldest plug I could find. I don\'t foul them as much as when I used AC44\'s. Go Figure????

Thanks for all the info guys! Canfield suggests Autolite 3624\'s so I\'ll try them and hope to hell I never have to change them again any time soon!

Autolites are great, AC are crap and from my experience bosch plugs arent worth the xtra $$.

Autolites are for Fords and Boschs are for Volkswagens. Stick with AC Delco. Try the new platnum series like come in the vortec engines. Expensive but worth it. I think there are 41-906 but not sure.

If I\'m not mistaken the Accel\'s are for tapered seat only...they don\'t make then for gasket style, 3/4\" reach types of plugs...at least that\'s what the bonehead at Jegs told me. Canfields are gasket style so I\'m SOL.

On my Pro1 heads, im running NGK V-power Racing plugs. They are 2 steps hotter than the recommended plug and they burn better than both the Champions and Autolites (with powertip) that are equivalent... on my particular application. The reason I went with a such a hot plug is because A) its naturally aspirated, B) more fuel=more power as long as you can get the air into the chambers to mix with it. http://www.s10v8.com/images/smilies/icon_razz.gif

the bosch are shorter than the ac`s too, and a lot cheaper than the header plugs from accel (here the accel are $30)

I\'ve heard good things about NGK\'s...
im using the ac delco rapidfires number 2\'s they run real good for a bout 3 months or so but i think i may be getting to much gas cause they arent fouling from oil i know that for a fact. im running an edelbrock 600 carb but i may need to rejet it. Any help would be great.
