I have a \'91 s-10 with a 4.3 V-6, auto tranny and its a 4x4, i have a v-8 with auto tranny but its only 2 wheel drive. How do i put in the tranny that came with the 350 and keep the 4wheel drive in my s-10?? Thanks.

Use the tranny and T case from your 4.3

I was thinking of not using the stock s-10 tranny cause i heard of someone elses stock s-10 tranny getting blown with the 350. Can i put the transfer case from the s-10 with the 350 tranny?

Is your tranny thats with the V8 a TH350, TH400, or 700r4? If its a 700r4, then you can just take the V8 tranny to the shop, and have the tailshaft, and nose taken off of your V6 current tranny, and put on your V8 tranny.
If its the turbo 350, or 400 you will have to go to www.advanceadapters.com and get the adapter kit. The TH 350 kit is around $170, and the one for the TH400 is quite a bit more. Hope that helps.
The tranny in your truck now will work, but it has fewer clutches and will probably burn up quicker than one that came with a V8 engine
