LT1 engine codes

getting the following codes

code 16-Lo res failure

code 26-CCP Electrical fault (ODM)

code 36-Hi res failure

code 42-EST grounded



Is still running, runs well at wot but idles rough and seems a little rich...help?

I think we need a little more info in orderto help. What year LT1? and Is it obd2? Has this been mod to fit your 86 s10? Out of what vehilce?

A 42 is tripped to let you know that you are in diagnostic mode. The other three I belive are related to the ECM itself. I believe the code 26 is for a QDM fault, which is inside the ECM and controls a section of inputs from the sensors on the engine. It could be something left disconnected, grounding out, shorted, or worst case a bad ECM. The 16 and 36 may be related. You could also try resetting the ecm and see which of these codes return.

the motor is from a \'94 firebird...OBD1. I have a feeling I may have damaged a wire or two getting the harness to the ecm through the firewall. Either that or when i had the dash out something happened. I reset the trouble codes but they came back. Just not sure where to look for a problem
