View Full Version : the mount ears on stealth mounts for blazers

i just bought stealth mounts is it neccessary to cut of the top slot on the ears for the mount seen i have a blazer it says to use the bottom slot. i was wondering if i can just leave it with both of them

You shouldn\'t need to cut the mounts.

when you use the top slots, it lowers the motor. You have to cut the bottom ones off, or else they will hit the frame, and not let the motor sit in the mounts. Thats what I had to do on mine.

yepp me too!! cut them!
