Where are you gonna find an 11\" 168T flywheel? Only 168T I ever saw was 14\", and the 153T were 12 3/4\". Thats the smallest flywheel I\'ve ever seen. I didn\'t know GM made anything other than those 2.

I\'m pretty sure he means for an 11\" clutch rather than the 10.4\" version.

In other words 4.3 (or is 4.3 153?) or sbc 350 flywheel. You might check ebay altho shipping is expensive on em cua theyre heavy. I bought mine from a local junk yard for like 40 bucks.

I\'ve got the one from my 4.3 still. Some surface rust, but should resurface no problems.

You want internal balance(305,350), or external balance(383,400)? I have a used 305 flywheel for 11\" clutch. The post says external bablance, and I dont know how easy that will be to find used since they never made a 1 pc seal 400. I\'m sure the aftermarket makes one($$$).

If you need it balanced of the 383 or 400 than you can call Napa and for @ $20.00 buy a bolt on balance weight. It works great!!! I bought a used flywheel for a 383 and it was actully for a 350 or 305. I was going to buy a \'NEW\' 400 unit from Napa when the counter GUY told me about this adapter. Cheap fix, works great!

my app. is for a 350 but its a one piece rear main, which were all externally balanced (\'87 and up). im not sure if the counterweight is the same as a 383 or 400 unit though. however i didnt consider what shipping would probably be so i just may hafta visit the junkyard after all.

oh yeah, does anyone know if 4.3\'s used either a 153 or 168? both? were there different clutch disk diameters? did they also come with both a one or two piece rear main? just want to expand my options in picking a donor car

my 92 4.3 used a 1 peice rms, 168T flywheel. Same balance as a 1 peice rms small block. I used it for a while when I was using my stock NV3500 behind my v8.
