I see most of the conversation is around using a Tarus fan for cooling. I have, but not yet insalled, a Camaro dual fan setup. Before I go to the work of putting them in, will they work OK?

Should work fine, i mean the camaro don\'t have a front grill that allows air flow though the rad so you should actually be better off using that setup in a s10, in theory anyways.

I thinks it should be fine also. Try it, keep an eye on the temp just in case. (You\'d have to keep an eye the temp just in case with any other set up anyways.)

Keep us posted. If it seems to work better than for you, than that leaves the rest of us another option.

Being a pioner is nothing new. I am using a HD Taurs rad. Not using a taurs fan. I am using a 17\" flex with a 2 1/2\" spacer. As a pioner I must say it works fine EXCEPT for when I drve with the plow blade hangin of the nose on the highway.

I think that the accessories might get in the way. My power steering pump was too low for a dual fan setup.

it really depends on your setup and where the engine is mounted. i didnt have a lot of room in the middle because of the waterpump pulley but if the fans were offset on either side i think they would have worked fine. come to think of it, i actually was trying to get a dual fan camaro setup with the offset fans (theyre kinda diagonal to eachother) a while back and im pretty sure they would work. this must be the same setup you\'re talking about right? or maybe it was off the iroc..

I am running a dual Electric fan set up from a camaro right now.

I have the rad from an 89 iroc in my truck with the 2 fans from the 89 as well. Im using them as pushers between the grill and rad.

During most of the summer i could get away with just one fan running, i only needed the secound fan during sit and go traffic when its really hot out. My engine is relativly mild with just a cam and 9:1 ratio if yours is hotter than this you should be fine if you can use them as pullers.
