I just removed my old rocker panels and cab corners. I already welded new rocker panels on. They look ok, just need to do some sanding and body filler. Now I can\'t figure the best way to install the cab corners any help would be great.

I would think that you would have to remove the bed to be able to get tp the corners.

If it\'s anything like my 55 Chevy Pickup; by removing everything first ; you may have disturbed the factory dimensions of door opening at bottom. Find a truck which is your year and measure the door opening / transfer that measurement to yours. Getting the cab corners set straight from all angles before tacking in place requires patience. goodluck.

I recomend leaving the doors on. Thereason is the doors hold the body \"stiff\". Also make sure all the tires are the same size on each axel. ANd check the air pressure. If one tire is flat the truck will lean and the panel won\'t sit right after the air is put into the tire. I made that mistake once. I welded a rocker in a 73 k10 with a 185/85r16on the one side and a 245/70r16 on the other. One is real tall the the other is real short.

Once I welded it and closed the door all gaps lined up perfect! door click to the hinges perfect. I thought I was great! Wrong! put the same size tires on the front of the truck and the door was next to impossible to open because the door bottom rubbed the rocker top plate. Yes, I had to cut it all out & do it again.
