well i have a 400 sb, 4.125 bore and 3.75 stroke, i have read that it is possible to bore a 350 to a 427 at probably the max, the cylinder walls get to thin and that causes problemswith heating, a 427 big block is 4.25 bore, and 3.76 stroke so what im thinkin is u in some way could get a piston to be that big, but it dosent always have to be a big bore then a stroke, you could get a big stroke and a semi big bore if you understand what im sayin. you should be able o get like 409 or so that i know of out of a 350 block , but your mains will have to be shaved out to accept a 400sb crank. but the main thing id be worried about is cooline ude have to get holes drilled in the head and the block, id me an amazing bitch i you could pull it off.

You can offset grind a 400 crank, use small journal rods and come up with 421ci.

you need an aftermarket block to go that big such as a motown

You can make it alot bigger than you might think my friends. I\'d have to get the issue from my buddy, but there was an article on how to make a 350 into a 454......THIS IS NO SHIT EITHER! I read it but i dont remember what all has to be done. I remember that the pistons had like a -28cc dish, the heads were somewhere around 110cc chambers and the stroke was outrageously huge. So just remember that anything can be done.
