This is kind of similar to another post. I have the lakewood slapper bars and I can\'t get the snubber off the frame. So, basically, is it doing more harm then good. It has a 3 inch block in the suspension and some people have told me to take it out and that would solve it. But doing that wouldn\'t relocate the springs or the frame would it? I can\'t drop the bars any lower or they will scrape at every bump. Im afraid if I take them off I will wheel hop pretty bad. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I have the lakewoods and I cut the snubbers like it says in the instructions so there is a little space between frame and snubber.

Cut them down. 1/4-1/2 space is good. Autozone started carrying some Energy Suspension products, they have a much thinner snubber you can buy.
Or, you could try shimming between the springs and the traction bar.

it all depends on how fast you want them to react... the closer the snubber is the the frame the faster they react, for an automatic car 1/2 an inch is generally a good place to start
