what parts can you get for a 83 s10 with a v8? or should you get?

like different radiator? oil cooler? things that dont necessarily make it the fastest s-series, but also help prolong engine life.

a vette radiator fits. i am running a external tranny cooler along with the one in the radiator.

A cooler running engine will last longer then one that overheats. I use the vette radiator in mine. I don\'t have a transmission cooler on mine, not including the one in the radiator already, I am planning on adding one to have the trans run cooler, to prolong the life of it. Oil changes often, quality parts and regular maintnence, clean it often, cleaning makes it look better and you will also notice a problem before it becomes a major problem. Know your truck, know every inch of it, the more you know about it the better, if you hear something, find out what it is as soon as you can. Don\'t do burnouts or doughnuts, don\'t floor it at every light, cheack air pressure, belts hoses filters etc etc often.

my uncle\'s buddy owns a tranny shop,,, a colder tranny is not good!! gotta get to certain temp, but if its too cold the trans fluid builds up sludge inside. and with the motor it should be running 180 for best performance, one who told me that one . well he used to build and race cars!
