I just updated my website with a bunch of pics of my L/S 94 in progress.
There are 3 pages, I\'ll link you to the first page.
If you are so inclined to look that is.

This will save your site from having to host all of these!

Nice site and great pics! Looks like that thing is going to be a monster. Great fabrication too by the way, it looks real professional. What\'s going to be pushing this beast down the track?

Old frame to new frame tie in:
How far did you insert the new frame into the old frame?
Did you weld a supporting \"fish-plate\" to the outside of both at that connection?

K,
Thanx for the feedback.
This will have a 421 sm. blk. We are hoping to get it in the mid 8s on spray, hi 9s off. This motor should be good for approx 640-660 hp, then I\'ll sneak up to a 250-300 horse hit.
I\'m leaning towards a t-400, as I prefer a 3spd. Legal class weight will be 3216, I think that is a little too heavy for a P/G.
Outlaw it should only weigh 2900 w/ driver.
F,
I went into the existing frame 6 inches. Do you mean a plate on the outside surface of the joint?
If so, then I did not, as I was able to get a substancial bead inside where the 2x3 lay against the old frame. The I fabbed the plate you see out of 1/4 in steel.
If you noticed the sill bars, they are also going to tie into the frame rails as well, I will place 2 struts from the frame to the sill bars each side.
