Shock mountings on blazers?

I looked at a set of hedmen shorties today and i can figure out why they should work on a 2wd and not 4wd.

The only thing i can think of is that maybe 2wd shock mount is in a defferent place than on the 4wd.

anybody know if there is a deference between the two?

My brother had a V8 S10 4WD, it had home made headers on it..i know i made them, the resemmbled a set of shorties, but i remember a problem of the front driveshaft being in the way. I think this is why there not recommened for a 4WD.
