Stupid People

Today, the person that bought my 4.3 came to pick it up finally. Heres the stupid part. They came to pick up the engine in dress clothes. Since i dont have a cherry picker, he brought 2 friends with him to help lift it. Instead of pickin the engine straight up, they decided to pick it up and turn it sideways and oil and anti freeze all over them. then they complained bout gettin it dumped on them. then they got stuck in the driveway, and had to be pulled out by my girlfriends cousins Dodge. Its been a hell of a day, and just need to vent. thanks...eric

Dress clothes? I bet you could have sold it for double the cash you got for it and even charged them a hefty fee for put it in their car for them.

A junkyard I used to deal with used to be like that. The dirty you were when you walked through the door the less you spent when you walked out.

i didnt pull them out, so i couldnt charge them anyways. but these guys didnt even know that you had to keep fluids in it during the winter if its not in a vehicle. these guys had a hell of a time puttin it in their suburban, and they are gonna put it in a van. i wish i could be there to see it lol

I would have loved to see how they lifted the motor out. Where did they stand and how many hands were on the chain? How tired were they when the motor was out? Oh and did they bring tools? Or did they just ask for yours? Did they put the motor on the seats in the suburban or did they tie the sucker to the roof rack?

i already had the motor pulled from my blazer, and it was sitting on the ground. they put it in the back of the suburban and layed a garbage bag underneath it. thats the smartest thing they did

Had a guy pick up a used rear before in a brand new Escalade. I offered him a piece of cardboard for the back to put underneathe the rear, and he said he didnt need that sh*t. So it was extra funny to see the brake fluid drip out, and the gear oil leak from the vent. What a shame!
