</BLOCKQUOTE></FONT></TD></TR><TR><TD><HR></TD></TR></TABLE><!-- BBCode Quote End --> i have a 1992 s10 with the full lengh headers on it and they work great ...but you have to run skiny tires on the front because the tubes come on the out side of the frame...but the shortie headers do not have that problem and the dont make as much power...if you are just driving the truck on the street than the shorties are the way to go but if you want some real power and sound than use the full lengh headers.. http://www.s10v8.com/images/smilies/icon_biggrin.gif

A good set of shorties, with the proper sized primaries and exhuast will make just about as much power on a street motor as a set of full length. And they are a lot less hassle. Sanderson makes an excelent shorty header for the v8 swap. They\'re available in 1 1/2, 1 5/8, and 1 3/4 primaries. I had a set that were jet coated. They looked great, and were quality made. But, expect to pay around $300 for a set.

puzzle- you don\'t need any headers for that yard dog of yours! It just sits in the yard and rusts http://www.s10v8.com/images/smilies/icon_razz.gif http://www.s10v8.com/images/smilies/icon_razz.gif Get off of your ass and BUILD SOMETHING http://www.s10v8.com/images/smilies/icon_mad.gif

I myself have hooker super-comp hedders, (they came with my truck), I drive my truck on the street with my crappy i-rock rims and they only rub when I have to do a 3 point turn lol. No problems for me only smell a little burning rubber sometimes but who doesnt love that smell lol.

They will not work with angle plug heads and jegs will tell you that too. I think that the hedman long tubes will work with angled plugs though, not sure?

In my opinion the shorties are a pain in the ass because its hard to route your exaust, too mutch fab work, long tubes are easy and perform better.
