Now for my questions...

1) I am looking for a good set of electric fans to keep this 406sbc cool. I am running a hi-flow waterpump, a aluminum radiator from the parts store, 160 degree thermostat...

2) What is a good way to mount a tach? I have a 5in with shiftlite and want to know if theres any good place to mount this...I dont know if I want to put it on the dash or on the column I am going to build for the shifter.

3) What do you guys think so far??

Same here. Two electrics pulling, water with water wetter in the summer and a shut-off for the heater. I have my tach mounted under the dash to the right of the steering wheel. I dont like it out in the open too much, but with a tunnel ram sticking out of the hood, I probably would! What do you have on those headers? If that isn\'t coating, I would suggest it. It saves plug wires and keeps the enigine bay way cooler.

Those are the headers that I purchased from the parts store here...

Ok, tell me about \"Water Wetter\" Getting ready to fire mine up. What would \'\'Water Wetter\" do for me? I must have lead a sheltered life, I have never heard of it. http://www.s10v8.com/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif

It makes it run a little cooler than water-antifreeze mix. You can buy it at almost any parts store..

1)I have a 406 with a Yukon radiator (3 core) and Dual 12\" pushers. The fans are in the mail so I really don\'t know how well this will work yet.

2)I had a 5\" pedestal mount Monster tach that I screwed to the a-pillar in my Blazer. i liked it a lot there. I had a tach mounted on the column in my pickup and hated it.

How do you like the 406? What all components do you have to go along with it??
