posi unit question

I have a 91 s10 2wd. I have a posi out if a 4wd blazer. the axles do not fit the posi. Also axles from a blazer are too wide for the s10 body. Will 4wd s10 axles work?

The axles out of the 4X4 will not fit do to the rearend being wider. If you get axles out of a 2wd of the same year you can put the posi carrier into your 2wd housing. I have a carrier out of an 85 Camaro in my 2wd housing.

so you are saying if i get 2wd blazer axles that they are shorter than the 4wd axles and will fit just fine?

The 4X$ rear end is 2\" wider than the 2WD so yes the 2WD Blazer axle will only fit a 2WD rear end and a 4X4 axle will only fit a 4X4 rear end.

thanks for your input. I am going to go find some axles this friday and hopefully run my truck saturday. I will let you know what it runs.
