Ford 9\" installed with pics....

I just installed a ford 9\" from a 1968 mustang. It is about 4\" wider than a stock s-10 rear. I bought a set of pads for $20 and had them welded on. I did not have to cut the drive shaft but I did have to get a different u-joint.(neapco 3-3130HD) or (spicer 6-30 22X)I have a set of draglite rims 15x10 7.5 back space. The rear tires only hang out about 3/4\". Bel tech leafs,slide-a-link bars and 4.11 posi.

what size was the housing??? 3\" or 3 1/4

This is a small bearing 9\". The housing gets smaller about halfway down the tube.

so you didnt have to modify the slide a links?

i got my 9inch out of a van and its 3 1/4\'\' so i just went with coil overs and a ladder bar
