Got Jet Hot ?

I am thinking about swapping out my heddman shortys for some ceramic coated headers. They run in the range of 250-300 from what I\'ve seen. Jet-hot said they can do it for 200 shipping included. Anybody out there have or use Jet-hot before ?

I have a local coating shop that did mine, and they were pretty cheap. Most powder coating places do ceramic now, you should try your yellow pages.

What about as far as how long they will look good before they rust....???? Jet hot stands behind there stuff I visited there facility when I was in U.T.I in AZ I was impressed.

I got my stuff done by a place here called LO-KO performance coatings, and it looks great. The only thing that can hurt it is road salt or some chemicals will stain it. Since most of us use shorty headers, it doesnt see mucj road grime. Also, they offer a heavier duty coating too.

If you get your headers ceramic coated, they should not ever rust if they are done correctly, just to let you know

I bought a set of hedman shorties and sent them out to jet hot in Pa. They did a great job and even put a rush on them for no extra charge. Just tell them you need them ASAP and get them there by 12:00 and they can get them shipped back out the same day.



Finish looked great when I first got them. Unfortunately the first time I started my motor the timing was so retarded the mixture was still burning as it came out the headers. They lit up red hot but the coating held up. It just discolored a little. Not quite so shiny anymore.
