it just keeps gettin worse

monday. found a sizeagle oil leak at the intake manifold. ok.



tuesday. discover it burnin antifreeze AND leakin oil out the heads.



wednesday. nothin.



thursday. that damned valve tap comes back



later thursday. check the oil. its all full of metal.



to top it off im good and broke and i now have to pull this damned motor apart.



im shittin my pants here. first because i dont got the money to do a full overhaul and second, im deathly afraid of what big ugly mess awaits me when i get this motor apart. this is bad. very bad.

I know your pain. I got my V8 s10 from my father. Who did the conversion about 7 or 8 years ago. and then it sat for the longest time. When i got it.It had a 305, nice motor lots of power that over heated and started acting up after doing some donuts with out the electric fan on! oops

Then i got a used 305 with 200,000 kms on it and it ran fine. Unitl the day i drive about 45 to get my deul exhaust made. on the return trip i lost alot of oil and seized the motor. Now i got a 350 built for me. Then 2 weeks later the tranny went on me. Then just reently the rear spider gears blew up on me. Now my truck is parked. Oh well come spring when i can start doing my frame swap it will be all good.

Sometime owning a veicle like a V8 s10 Isnt the easiest thing to do!
