you can get a kit to take care of that from T.C.I. AND B+M and others its not that hard or costly http://www.s10v8.com/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif

so u manualy regulate the lock-up, and its not that hard to hook up? if so im assuming there is a button to make it go on and off, so i could probably wire it in to my shifter where th button accessory goes. also, is it possible to make it a non-lock-up trans?

the kits usually work off of vacuum. You could make it a non-lock up by puttin in a huge stall. I think that B&M\'s 3000 makes it a non-lock up but, there is mods you have to do to the tranny.

Even if you dont hook up The TCC wiring the trans will work fine. just wont lock up ever. The aftermarket lock up kits are pretty reasonable and fairly easy to install. So either way your trans should work ok

but from what i hear and have read, the TC lock-up was essintial because it is use a a way to cool the transmission, i mean thats probably for longativity reasons, so would i have to put a trans cooler on it somewhere or not worry about it?
