Working on a street big cube sbc. 482 cu The supercharge effect will be needed to feed this thing just to keep it running to top end, Running a ratio near max what ever that could be 6psi?. but since its street. I could assist top end with nitrous in addition should for some reason I\'d race anyone to top speeds.

Please dont ask why I\'m building it. I dont know. Heres were I need help

I want to run my serpintine belt. Are there any out there I can do this with. Whiether with in the same belt or addition to thie surpintine belt. The supercharger or maybe better named the \"NEEDedcharger does not need to be the top of the line. Just a unit that will boost aflow to feed this thur 350 heads. I will be using the best 18 degree heads I can. but the added cubes are pushing extremes. Any any help or ideas from the blower guys or motorheads. I am in the dark and would like to hear what ya think. feel free toanswer directly too ~Remmi~

HP TV built a 472 ci small block this weekend. dynoed around 660 hp on pump gas. iron eagle block, lunati camshaft, heads etc.

you might be better served to run a centrifugal supercharger. They build boost more gradually. Get ahold of ATI. Their F1 setup is pretty crazy.

I don\'t think that a smaller roots blower is going to be able to feed that. I don\'t think it will have the cfm.

I dont think you will \"need\" a supercharger to make it run in the top end. The newer heads they make with 230 runners, etc. run pretty good. Also, you actually improve their flow by putting them on a larger bore engine by unshrouding the valves some. You will definetly need a larger single plane for the extra plenum volume to keep it fed.

If you want to use a serpentine system as far as I know you will have to use centrifical like procharger or ATI,do you want to limit it to underhood clearance only?I assume you are going to run carb I am in process of building a 671 blower motor for my 69 nova ,and a friend of mine has a tubbed s10 with block in it already,so we mocked up blower setup on truck and it looks bada**,has me thinking about putting it in my truck later on instead of nova but who knows.Anyway what Im trying to say is if your building a blower motor you need depending upon boost dished blower pistons can run forged flat tops if boost is below say 5pds like with a 144 weiand baby blower ,if you are serious about power and boost build it right 4340 h-beam rods,4340 crank, blower pistons, head and main studs, and a blower cam, dont have to get to fancy on heads because the air is forced in I went with dart 215, 72 cc with 125pds of seat pressure 490 nitrous xp cam from comp .I guess what im trying to say is that if you already have high comp. pistons and a huge cam stay away from the blower unless you want to have big problems and broken parts .My blower setup and every roots type ive seen has v belt hope this helps,I have done alot of studing before I started this project so if I can help further let me know thanks......
