Engine Mounts

Although I have a JTR book, I do not recall information about motor mounts. If I go from a 4 cyl to a V8, does it matter if I buy OEM mounts for a 2.8 or 4.3 V6 so I can mount the aftermarket conversion mounts? I want to order them on the net today, but I do not have my book with me while traveling.

U need to use stock 2.8 mounts to be able to bolt ur swap mounts on. If your using the ones from this site.

you need the 2.8 lowers regardless of the uppers you have. i think they make em for the 4.3 too, ive never personally seen them and as far as i know they aint cheap either.
