im installing a 350 tpi out of an 88 iroc into my 86 blazer. I have removed the entire wiring harness from computer to firewall plug. Ive labeled every sensor and plug,my question is do I plug the end of the iroc harness into my existing firewall plug or will it not work, should i just cut out everything but the sensors I need? ive already got the v8 swap book and the tpi swappers guide but they dont say.I also have the computer and 700r out of the iroc also. any help is greatly appreciated. thanks http://www.s10v8.com/images/smilies/icon_biggrin.gif

Eli, I\'m at about the same point as you are.

JTR\'s manual says to cut a 2 in. hole as far left as possible ( exhaust manifold clearance). As in your case the Camaro harness has a rectangle insert that originally snapped in the firewall. I will decide this weekend , whether to cut a hole or rectangle.

I\'m leaning towards cutting a rectangle & snap it in . This way I don\'t disturb the harness., of course you may still have to, but your harness will be well secured to the firewall.

Also do not cut any wires until positively sure you will not need them.

I hope this helps.
