No Brake Lights??

I have all my electrical bugs worked out but one on my 97. A quick summary the 2.2L harness has been removed, the harness for the lights,horn ect... i left in. I have everything working but brakes lights. I converted to manual brakes from an 85 S10 but the switch on the pedal is the one from the 97 so inside the truck is as it was from factory. Does anyone know what to look for to get my brake lights to work???

the pedal should push in the switch all the way when your foot is not on the pedal and then release the switch when you press the pedal. I would say the fuse is blown, or the switch is gone. Also many times your cruise control will be hooked to the same pedal with the same switch, so if you disabled cruise control, it might be killing your gorund.

yeah, id say check the fuse. the taillights in my parents ram stopped working and thats all it was..... well, that and a trailer wiring harness shorting out...
