Looking for a Fiberglass / Stepside Truck Bed ?

I am looking to replace my truck bed. I remember A few years back a saw ads for fiberglass truck beds by ChooChoo customs and have recently recently been unable to find one? I have also seen a aftermarket steel stepside but still been unable to locate one! Any leads or suggestions?

up22.com offers \"fender flares\", at least thats what i think they call them. They look like dually fenders or something...But from what you say you are looking for a complete bed. I\'ve never seen one offered by anyone, but that doesnt mean that there is\'nt any out there.

There is a guy somewhere on the net Project Wildside. He has a fiberglass bed and it\'s a AWD350 s-10

That wouldm be a Choo Choo Customs wildside bed. they only made a few, good luck finding one.

The original company that designed the first mold for the Choo Choo customs bed has gone out of buisness. There is a new company that now makes the bed. I am at college right now so I dont know the name or have the cataloge of the company. I saw the bed at the 2002 Back to the 50\'s at the Minnesota state fair grounds. So guys its still out there and being produced you just need to look for it.

The Choo Choo Customs bed was the one that I was looking for but was unable to find.... Does anyone know if you can convert the 94&up stepside to an 82-93?

You can make anything fit if you have the right tools and the ambition to do it. I have seen newer boxs on older S10\'s but they were all fleetsides, but i don\'t see why a step side wouldn\'t fit.

i was told that the stepside bed would bolt up without any problems because the frames are suppose to be the same. how true that is i don\'t know. but i have seen a pic of it and looks really good.
