I have Weld prostar 15x8in wheels with 4.5 in backspacing and they dont look very good on the truck. The tires stick out farther than the fenders. This might be because of the tires and not the wheels. Im not sure. What is the maximum backspacing you can run on an s-10 with 15x8in wheels with a 10-10.5in tire. I want a 10-10.5in tire and i want it to tuck under the fender real nice. Any wheel size suggestions are greatly appreciated.

What size tires do you have on there? 4.5\" bs on a 8\" rim is the right BS for a 2wd truck.
I have a set of 275/50/15\", roughly 11\" wide, with only 4\" BS, and they tuck.
Sounds like either your wrong on the BS, or the wheel sizes.

Will 15x8\'s with 5.5in backspacing and a 10in tire fit.

2wd and 4wd is different on backspacing. On my 4wd I have 10X15 \" wheels and 4.5\" backspacing and my tires hang out about 1\"-1 1/2\".

See, his axle is 4\"wider, and hangs out just a little, with a wider rim and the same BS.
Somethings just not adding up.
But yes, 5.5\" bs will work. Thats what I run on my 15x10\" rims.
