Anyone ever done this

I have an lt1 block and all the goodies. But has anyone ever used the Lt4 \"hot cam\" kit from gm. If so, is it worth the 500 or so bucks? And how much hp can i expect from a stock lt4.

Are you staying with stock heads? no porting? There are a ton of options.



But some say close to 380 depeding upon other mods but I think realisticly its around 340-350, again depending on alot of other mods sucha s larger TB (52mm). I think a stock LT4 is rated at 330 so around 25 hp is a rough estimate of what you might gain. THere is alot other options if your looking to build it up that maybe wouldn;t cost much more probably even less.



With headers and some good tuning though you could gain alot more than 25hp.



Keeping it a daily driver or just fun weekend racer?
