I have basicly a stock 400sb,, what are some good places to start for performance upgrades, the easy stuff first, or do i need to worry about my tranny and rear end first?
tranny and rear first would be my thought, traction would be a great place to start.

I think people under estimate the rears in these trucks once again. Friend of mine was running 11.5@ 123 on a stock 7.5 with gov nr posi, 4.10\'s, slicks and little spin, with a 406 and 2.02 heads.

A good set of traction bars would help. Also if you don\'t have a posi I recommened it. Between a posi and traction bars it realy helps the tires bite the street. Then my attetion would be on the tranny. Assumming your running a t-350, I would shift kit it which would make it shift better. The 400 sbc makes good power, with the rest of the sytem in good shape it should run qutie quickly!
