I have the Headman full length, and i sent them to JetHot to get them coated. They look great, and i think it costed me $249 for the coating and $259 for the headers. So if your getting them for $480 already coated then thats a good deal. And i have never had a problem with them leaking ANYWHERE on them.

if you cant get them to fit then you didnt follow the instructions with your motor mount kit as far as enlarging the firewall, or you didnt follow the instructions with the headers. Mine only took me about 30min to install. And they have never leaked at the slip joints or at the collector on mine. http://www.s10v8.com/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif

I\'m considering getting rid of my Hooker full length headers and switching to 1 3/4 or 2\" Sanderson shorties. I just would like to run full width tires up front and lower my engine down a little in the engine bay.

You guys have some real problems with the headman full lenghts dont you. They DO NOT get in the way of running a 10\'\' wide tire up front if you wanted, which if i may add the Headman Longtubes DO NOT hang low like everyone says either, and mine have NEVER leaked.
While im at it, the Stahl headers are RACE ONLY HEADERS, everyone acts like they are they\'re set of dream headers just because of they cost so much, they come out right behind the tire and you would be lucky to get them in with a 5\'\' wide up front so forget about a street tire up front. You would need a ET drag front or something similar that can\'t handle street use. Which would be fine if you were building a race truck, but are not a very street friendly header.

The problem I have with the hedman long lubes is they don\'t work with my motor mounts. They middle two tubes on the drivers side hit the front crossmember and motor mount or else I\'d be using them. I might change motor mounts but then I don\'t like the small primaries on the Hedman hedder. I want 1.75\" primaries to 3\" or 3.5\" collectors, but like they say SHIT in one hand and wish in the other and which one gets full first???
