Ok, I starting the conversion after waiting 2 years, so I\'ll have tons of questions as I make progress. To start off. What changes do i have to make via, wire harenesses, computer crap. Both engines are tbi. 2.8 that will be gone (hahaha) and welcome 5.7.

Congratulations! A v8 will make your truck go well!

There are many mods on a 4x4. and many on a 2wd. You need to give enough information to allow help.

So many options, So many engines, & transmisions combinations.

kewl, kewl, i have the tbi book and s10 book on the way from jtr.

As for the specs. I have an 86 s10 blazer, 4x4, 5 speed manual. junked 2.8, i already have a 5.7 from an 89 chevy truck. i have doing a little research here and there, so i have a halfway dicent idea on a few things that need to change. electric sh!# usually pisses me off.

I also have an 87 so10 Blazer for parts. it has a few things like power locks, windows, ac. since the 87 is in bad shape, I was planning on snagging some of the extra goodies from it.

I am going to ad the ac to my blazer. same for the power windows and locks, tilt steering. My 86 is pretty plain jane. so I\'m adding a few goodies to it.
