Do I have to use any type of adaptor plates to get a 700R4 that was used on a 4.3 to bolt up to a chevy 350 from a 70 nova that had a turbo 350 in it? Also how much do you guys think it would be to have a 700r4 rebuilt?

im almost positive that the transmission will bolt right up since both transmissions have a 90 degree bolt pattern. and as far as the price to rebuild the tranny i don\'t know the cost, hope this might help a little bit

I GOT MY 700R4 BUILT TO HOLD 700 HP FOR 525 BENCH BUILT WITH WARRANTY 1 YEAR IT BLEW I HAVE WARRANTY TOOK BACK GETTING REBUILT RIGHT NOW NO COST. IT JUST DEPENDS I LEARNED MY LESSON FIRST TIME I TOOK TO ONE SHOP THEY SAID PERFOMANCE ALPICATION NO WARRANTY GOT THE SHAFT WAS OUT 1200 BIG ONES. SO THE SAYING YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR IS NOT ALWAYS TRUE. IF A SHOP WILL NOT WARRANTY IT GO SOMEWHERE ELSE THAT BELIEVES IN THERE PRODUCT AND WILL WARRANTY IT.
