I do very little in the way of automatics, but I am pretty sure there are some automatic rebuilders that have posted on here. I have done some, but you would be better served with advice from an expert.

theres a circlip in the center , where the splines are. take one small screwdriver and one small pic. hold the circlip with the screwdriver at the end try to keep it from spinning while takiing the pic and popping the clip up out of the grove. it takes a special touch be patient

A good small set of snap ring pliers work great. A couple of guys at the shop use pick and screwdriver but the pliers have always worked better for me. But then again I always do stuff backasswards anyway. You will also need a tool to remove the lo rev piston at the back also. I f you need a breakdown let me know and I will send you a exploded veiw of it so you know what goes where when reassembling.

One more thing, what caused the crack? It is usually driveshaft or the trans is missed alined.

not sure what caused the crack someone one here suggested that was something with worm holes etc, not real sure, but do konw it goes grom one side to the other, BUT now that you ask about that, i do believe that it was of my own doing, when i replaced the trans I didnt tighten the motor mounts and i just wonder if it gave movement and crackkkkkkk.. yea it\'s a stock rubber trans mount. and yes anyt help when reassembling would be awesome thank you.
