need 350 tranny

i\'ve decided to put a 350 in my truck instead of the 454 from my suburban, cuz this is my first major project and i would like to make a good job of it.

question; what is the best MANUAL transmission for a 350?

also if anyone wants the suburban, let me know. it\'s a 1985 Suburban w/ 454 and rebuilt auto tranny.

Personaly if you plan on beating on your truck then I would recomend a 4spd. The m21,t-10 and saginaw are side mount shifters. You\'ll need to make a relieve in the floor for space for the shifter.

Most go with the t-5/ or the 89+newer one piece 5spd (nov3500 I think) because the s10\'s came with them. Some do the t-5/6 6speed tranny but its cost is high. These are easier to install as the shifter is part of the trans.

Its up to you and your wallet.
