crossmember?

im going from a 2.8 with a 5 spd to a turbo 350. what am i gonna have to do to the transmission crossmember?

i think all i did was elongate the holes for the mount, made it easier to line up the mount bolts to the crossmember. mine is a longbed so i had to move the carrier bearing mount a little bit. i think i even used the stock trans mount.

Yeah you will need to elongate it, and you may need to add an inch or two to the height of the transmission mount to even it up with the driveshaft..

thanx for the info, do you think i will have to shorten the driveshaft?

need more info, short long bed? tailshaft length? engine mounts you plan to use? placement of rad? etc......

alright heres my info, im not sure on the tailshaft length, its out of a 72 monte carlo if that would help. truck is a short bed. im going to youse the hedman motor mounts. i dont know about the placement of the radiator, am i going to have to move it foward or something?
