I have a question for all of you knowledgeable people. I just bought an 83 blazer that has a high compression 350 already installed, i put in a new battery and went to turn it over, and nothing happened. Not even the usual click or anything. I haven\'t really looked over it yet since its in a friends garage. I have a new starter and coil for it, should i put them in and try it again, or where else can i look?
Thanks...Eric http://www.s10v8.com/images/smilies/icon_confused.gif

Check for power at the starter first, if there is none thats your problem, if there is then try a different starter. I wouldn\'t worry about the coil if it wont even crank or click.

Check for power at the s terminal on the starter also. Its the little single wire bolted the the small terminal. The trigger wire should get power to lt only when turning ignition switch to the start postion.
