turbo 400

I know the turbo 350 will bolt up but will the stock drive shaft work on a turbo 400?

no. The shaft diameter is different - more splines and its larger.

I also have a 9 inch on the way so I might as well get a whole new drive shaft built. $$$$$

If the shaft is the correct lenght, Napa sells odd fit ujoints. example- t-400 tranny use the t400 ouput shaft yoke. s10 d-shaft and ford 9\" rear uses the ford yoke. Napa can match the ujouints to fit the modify aplication.

Done it before. Stuffing t-350\'s w/ ford rears in the the old mercury chop tops.

TH400 is 32 spline, versus 27 for a TH350. As far as driveshaft, that would depend on the style of TH350- long, med, short.
