I was wondering if any one has redone there gauges in a 85 blazer. I don\'t like the look of the stock ones and, was wondering if I could take out the seat belt one and replace it with fuel. And the fuel guage with a tach. And does any one have a aftermarket speedo.I would like all the guages to match in the factory pods. Anyone done it?I haven\'t seen any gauge face kits either.

if you search long and hard enough (took me 6 months!!!!) you may get lucky and find a factory cluster with the small fuel guage and the tachometer. but like i said, they are very hard to come by, and quite rare...

no aftermarket that will fit in the stock guage dealy\'s that i have found, but i also didnt look too hard for aftermarket... so if you search you may find one.

You will probably end up doing what I am going to do. Make your own custom panel.

Is the cluster with tach a good buy?

i personally think so, hence why i bought one, but you may have better luck going aftermarket, because with the tach you have to do some calibration. if you do buy the cluster with the tach, i know that there is a bunch of stuff on this page about calibrating the tach. if you have the conversion manual theres also stuff in tere i beleive. with after market tho, you may have to do a custom cluster, instead of putting it in the stock pods.
